This just-uploaded video appears to show a still alive, but bloodied, Qaddafi in rebel custody from earlier today (Warning: This is obviously pretty graphic stuff):
Time for some explanations from the NTC.
What explanation do you expect to receive Josh?
They came, they saw, they beat him to a bloody pulp and blew his brains out for good measure.
Did you think Khadaffi would have met a different end?
I see a man obviously very badly wounded - probably mortally so - and possibly in the last moments of his life. Captured alive? Captured half-dead? I'm not sure it really makes any difference and it saves us all from the sight of him grandstanding at the ICC... he would have LOVED that.
I'm saving my indignation for his victims.
He and his unit were fighting an obviously lost battle for weeks. They could have made a clear and unambiguous surrender at any point during that battle.
That is added to his consistent statements that he would die fighting and never surrender.
Wish Amnesty Int'l would spend more time fighting the Patriot act than criticizing a foreign government based on nothing but a single third-hand account of what a single delusional dictator may have said in his last moments.
Does it matter?
Wish Amnesty Int'l would spend more time fighting the Patriot act than criticizing a foreign government based on nothing but pc geek a single third-hand account of what a single delusional dictator may have said in his last moments.
