Bikini car washes for Putin

He drives sweet cars. He tranquilizes tigers. He rides horses bare-chested.

Yes, Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin is a man's man, and it's driving the ladies crazy, if two pro-Putin stunts from the last week are any guide. The first came from Putin's Army, a group of young, female Putin supporters who formed on VKontakte, Russia's version of Facebook. They released a professionally-made video calling on "young, smart, and beautiful" girls to tear off their shirts and back a Putin campaign for the presidency. (After all, how else would you show your support? Elections?) But they may have been one-upped by a similar group called I Really Do Like Putin, who staged a bikini car wash in downtown Moscow. The women gave free car washes for Russian-made cars to show their support for Russia's domestic car industry.

Russia Today presents the footage, followed by an attempt at banter from the anchors that almost upstages the car wash footage:


With elections a year away in Russia, the campaign wing of Putin's establishment are relying on an unorthodox PR strategy to rebrand the party and win more (non-rigged) votes. Posters up now in central Moscow depict President Dmitri Medvedev as an armor-clad superhero, spoofing the new movie Captain America by calling Medvedev "Captain Russia: First Ruler." But it's not clear who's behind the Putin's Army video. Though speculation abounds, Putin has not declared his candidacy for the presidency yet, and Kremlin authorities have strongly denied involvement.

Of course, if women tearing off their shirts doesn't work, there's always Putin's chest. What a stud.

very controversial

Oh the news is horrendous and very controversial. We see how the young and beautiful open warned for service car wash with bikini clad only. This is very controversial. The women would want to attract attention but not necessarily be very clean car. But I'm interested in trying to use his services.

Putin's army can any day come and wash my car. I just hope for Putin's sake that this stunt will help him at the polling station. It is fine to attrack attention via the bodies of beautifull ladies,but it is totally wrong to use their bodies to help you get votes.

Formed around a Russian social-networking site called V Kontakte, Putin's Amazons, as they've been dubbed by Russian media seem to be more suitable for a spoof on Italian TV station run by Putin's pal Silvio Berlusconi.Girls who strip on video to support Putin will be entered in a competition to win an Apple iPad 2, according to the Russian website.And the Putin's Army website shows the way, with a video of blonde 'student' Diana on the streets of Moscow writing 'I will tear my clothes off for Putin' with red lipstick on her top before starting to take off her clothes.Translated, alexis texas’s pledge to 'rip it for Putin' has two meanings. She will rip her shirt open for Putin and also beat you up if you bad-mouth him.The Putin personality cult is strange and very serious.Pop songs make lists for the man with the right stuff to become PM : 'He must be like Putin.'He has appeared in comic books as a martial arts expert who knocks down not only terrorism but any hint of public protest.And he has his own youth group, Nashi, that harasses and attacks his critics, while praising Putin at every opportunity.A slogan on the V Kontakte site announces: 'We will show that Mr Putin is supported by many beautiful, young and smart girls! 'We agree that Putin is a decent and honest politician, as well as a man and chic! The goal: for Putin to be president!'Putin was president of Russia from 2000 to 2008.He then became the Russian Prime Minister when he was ineligible to run for a third consecutive term as president.

Actually it only emphasized what people have said all along..Obambi does not have the experience necessary to be POTUS.Pretty bad when even your own VP pick has said the same thing. Biden is a VP choice..he won't be running the country.. RIO nd people see that..
