A US Marine of 3rd Battalion, 6th Marines jumps down to fetch a hammer as they build an obervation point on the perimeter of their combat outpost recently set up in Marjah, Helmand province, southern Afghanistan, on March 16, 2010. Thousands of US Marines, NATO and Afghan soldiers have massed in the Marjah region of the Helmand River valley ahead of a planned operation to eradicate Taliban militants who along with drug traffickers hold sway there.

Happy Landing

It is a neat picture. Hopefully he landed safely. It would really suck to dodge the bullets only to blow out a knee jumping to pick up a hammer.
