Tory MP: You're just jealous of my totally dope crib

Most of the British MPs forced to step down in the ongoing parliamentary expense account scandal have at least been publicly apologetic when confronted with evidence of their taxpayer-funded boondoggles.

But ousted Tory MP Sir Anthony Steen thinks he was totally justified in charging taxpayers for planting 500 trees on his property and thinks his constituents should just stop playa-hating:

"I've done nothing criminal, that's the most awful thing, and do you know what it's about? Jealousy," Steen said. "I've got a very, very large house. Some people say it looks like Balmoral."

Yeah, a private forest is pretty cool. But did he have a duck island?
