Family plug: FP's got a new blog, In Other Words, which, as faithful readers know, bears the same name as the print magazine's book review section. In essence this new blog is not unlike a book club, just bigger, better, and obviously cooler.
Here's the idea: We will regularly highlight a new book of note. For one week we'll bring you provocative critiques, reviews, thoughts, and questions from our contributors and bloggers (and of course the author). And we invite you to chime in via the comments section.
The inaugural In Other Words "virtual book club" will look at The Gamble, the latest bestseller by our own Best Defense blogger, Tom Ricks. The debate has already started. Marc Lynch isn't in agreement about the U.S. timeline in Iraq and the book hit close to home for Senior Editor Christian Brose.
Passport, FP’s flagship blog, brings you news and hidden angles on the biggest stories of the day, as well as insights and under-the-radar gems from around the world.
