Setting up Davos for failure

This morning's Financial Times has a special pullout section today on Davos (the online version is here), a.k.a. the annual meeting of the World Economic Forum.

I pity the poor soul who came up with this headline combo:

"The Magic Mountain: Can Talks in Davos Help Solve the Economic Crisis?"

Um, no?

Davos 2009

I presume that global financial conditions surrounding Davos this year will effectively wipe out the Emmy-like, red-carpet atmosphere it was starting to acquire. It will inevitably have to be about mistakes rather than triumphs. Still, are you guys going to have a live blogger reporting from the summit again this year?
