JagdeeshB said the same thing at CFR that Tribune says. But saying "cut trade" is a solecism. Please don't encourage alphabetization.
The real barriers are subsidies, and fiscal spending which favors US producers over importers. In fact, that is an aspect of our present policy's, not being debated by anyone. If we don't want the SH tariff days, policy makers need to think beyond their national interests, and this implies overriding domestic sentiment and interests. Its in direct violation of democratic sovereignty.
Wannabe Lincoln. Abe wasn't just pragmatic, and humility is foreign to Obama DNA. Abe was an accomplished thinker, and this was clear before his election. About Hussein Jr, we are clueless - except tinges up people's legs.
China's response? Already? Wow, really not much to write about eh?
As for Clinton era ghosts - Obama isn't hiring anyone, who has a different take on Russia, from any administration since the Seward purchase!
