Who's hopejacking for Sarkozy?
Mon, 12/01/2008 - 3:28pm
One of Andrew Sullivan's readers sends in the following photo from Paris:
The Paris 2e blog has posted more images of the campaign here and here. The posters have captions like "Producing a clean ecological source of energy" and "Create one million fixed jobs" and are apparently mostly in left-wing neighborhoods.
It's not immediately clear who's behind the campaign, but Paris 2e's "Cedric" feels that "judging by the amount of money spent on such a campaign, it can't be
the secret art project of some students over at the Beaux-Arts." Sullivan adds that "Sarkozy is nothing if not shameless."
Given his well-documented man-crush on the president-elect, I certainly wouldn't put it past Sarko to engage in some guerilla-style hopejacking.
