What if the world could vote?

The world has been weighing in on the U.S. presidential election intermittently over the past two years, but what would happen if the countries of the world could cast a collective vote on Nov. 4? Would the world elect Barack Obama or John McCain?

FP teamed up with the folks at the Gallup World Poll to create this must-see interactive map of their findings. The polls, conducted in 70 countries from May to September 2008, asked participants two questions: "Which candidate would you personally rather see elected president of the United States" and "Do you think who's elected president makes a difference to your country or not?"

You might not be surprised at which candidate has won the world's favor overall, but I wonder if you can name the 10 most pro-McCain countries? Or how about the 10 countries that most feel this election will have no effect on them whatsoever?
