BBC: The United Arab Emirates has said that it is cancelling the entire debt owed to it by Iraq, a sum of almost $7bn (£3.5bn) including interest. The Gulf state also appointed a new ambassador to Iraq, in a move which eases Baghdad's diplomatic isolation. (link)
AP: 550 metric tons of yellowcake were removed from Iraq. It should be noted that this is pre-1991 yellowcake, of which the U.N. and U.S. were already aware. (link)
