Ben Smith finds that Barack Obama's slogan is catching on in Russia:
In an apparent coincidence that has Tatar media outlets abuzz, the Obama slogan "Yes, We Can!" has the same meaning as [Tartarstan PM] Shaimiyev's favorite catchphrase, which in Tatar is "Bez Buldyrabyz!"
And in Italy:
Italy's Walter Veltroni, who just quit his job as Rome's mayor to run for Prime Minister with the newly formed Democratic Party, has actually taken to using Obama's newly re-popularized "Yes We Can" slogan as his campaign motto. And he's saying it in English.
