FOREIGN POLICY is proud to announce that the magazine has been nominated for two prestigious 2007 National Magazine Awards.
The first is for "general excellence" in the 100,000 to 250,000 circulation category, for our May/June, September/October, and November/December issues. This is the third year in a row that we've been nominated for the top prize in our weight class.
The second nomination is for Thomas Friedman's provocative essay The First Law of Petropolitics, which was the cover story for our May/June issue.
We're going up against some great magazines in both categories, so we're honored to be honored. Read our full press release here.
