A mini tornado ripped through north London this morning, injuring six people, damaging scores of houses, and leaving hundreds homeless. The Oxford-based Tornado and Storm Research Organization estimates that an average of 33 tornadoes are reported annually in Britain. According to the Guardian,
The tornado is the latest to hit Britain in recent months, sparking warning that such weather events are likely to increase in frequency because of global warming.
