Bushy facial hair might be making a comeback on the silver screen these days (witness Borat), but in a certain Manhattan neighborhood, it looks like it's on the verge of becoming a fashion "don't." Mustachioed John Bolton's term as U.S. ambassador to the United Nations is coming to a close soon, and the latest parlor game inside the Beltway is to guess who might take his job. In particular, The Washington Note, the blog of the New America Foundation's Steve Clemons, has done a good job of naming names. In this week's FP List, we take a look at some of the contenders for the next top American diplomat to the United Nations, including Congressman Jim Leach, Ambassador to Iraq Zalmay Khalilzad, and yes, John Bolton himself.
