Kudos to Slate for putting these two together to give us their take on the troubles besetting Randy, Namond, Michael, and of course, Omar. The HBO show is, in my opinion and as many have noted, the best thing on television. The NYT editorial page got it right when it said, "If Charles Dickens were alive today, he would watch "The Wire," unless, that is, he was already writing for it."Mark Levenstein
