RumsfeldToday's "Recycled" feature at Slate.com is a 2003 posting on Rummy's poetry. Reporter Hart Seely used DoD transcripts to put Rumsfeld's ruminations into verse. If you didn't read the original posting or Seely's book, The Existential Poetry of Donald H. Rumsfeld, it's worth a look.

My personal favorite:

A Confession
Once in a while,
I'm standing here, doing something.
And I think,
"What in the world am I doing here?"
It's a big surprise.
