Tomorrow is Veterans Day. Take a minute out of your day to visit Library of Congress' Veterans History Project, which is collecting the oral histories of American soldiers. I picked two completely at random and listened to their powerful and heroic stories. All are worth a look.

ParfittOn June 6, 1944, Ellison W. Parfitt went ashore at Normandy with the U.S. Army's 4th Infantry Division.

 

Griffith

Donald M. Griffith landed with the 1st Marine Division at Inchon, Korea in 1950 and spent three years as a POW.
