Al Jazeera International, after a few months of delay, is set to go live on November 15. It expects to reach 40 million viewers around the world that first day. Distribution in the United States is still being negotiated, and the promo below looks specifically designed to convince prospective cable carriers that the network has the kind of bona fides it needs to compete with CNN and BBC.
