I'd say it was very close,

I'd say it was very close, almost a tie, with maybe a slight lean towards Obama. Obama came out ahead in the first part of the debate which dealt with economic issues. The second part McCain did a lot better but Obama still got in a few punches, though this part was where McCain was supposed to dominate. At this point in the campaign, McCain needed something big so a tie is basically a loss for him.
