Nearly 900 soldiers wounded in Iraq and Afghanistan have been saddled with government debts as they have recovered from war, according to a report that describes collection notices going out to veterans with brain damage, paralysis, lost limbs and shrapnel wounds.

Iraq 

Prime minister-delegate Maliki is no longer "Jawad Maliki." He's reverted back to his original name of "Nouri Maliki." Jawad was the name he gave himself to protect his family from Saddam. 

The Vice President Hashemi's sister has been shot dead, just a week after his brother was killed. He's a Sunni, fyi. Many Arab Sunnis are changing their names to avoid bad outcomes.
